RGC was started before the turn of the century by Jacob Reimann in Buffalo, NY. He sold wooden ladders, but was primarily a general contractor    After Jacob's death in 1898, his sons Louis and Albert carried on the business.   - concentrating on the manufacturing of special ladders.   In 1946, Howard Reimann and Roland Georger purchased the business and over the next few years introduced boat lifts, power hoists, scaffold brackets, and ladder hoist frames. In 1972, RGC was sold to Emil Von Dungen, Inc. whom added today's present line-up of hydraulic construction products, new hoists as well as personal watercraft lifts. Presently, RGC - as the company is now known - is highly respected in three diverse industries. RGC is the #1 hoist manufacturer in the country, a premier construction equipment supplier and is also regarded as the finest boat lift manufacturer in North America. 

 Since 1946, RGC has developed innovative power hoists, scaffold brackets and ladder hoists. During the last 70 years RGC has expanded their hoisting line to include Platform, Swing, Ground-Mounted and Trolley Hoists, as well as a wide selection of roofing accessories.  American made RGC hoists are known to be versatile, reliable, durable and cost-effective.  

HOISTS, BRACKETS & HOOKS

Platform Hoists are the most economical, safe and labor saving method of raising materials to the roof on residential and commercial jobsites. Models are available in 200 lb. and 400 lb. lifting capacities, with gas or electric power drives, and 12 ft., 16 ft., 28 ft., or 44 ft. of track. Transporting and assembly are easy; maintenance is minimal. 

Pivoting Platform Hoists, the PPH functions like a converyor. It is offered with a 400 lb. load capacity, 44 ft. of track and a choice of PRO Drives. Select a 4 hp Briggs & Stratton gas engine, 4 hp Honda gas engine or a 1-1/2 hp Baldor electric motor to power your hoist.

Manufactured of 11 gauge steel, RGC Roof Brackets are the industry standard for roofers, painters, masons and carpenters. Brackets are offered in sizes to accept 2 x 6, 2 x 8 and 2 x 10 planks and to meet different roof pitch requirements. Two styles of Shinglers hold a 2 x 4 by either the 2 in. or 4 in. side.
 

 RGC Ladder Hooks help position and secure a ladder in place on the roof. Ladder Arms support the ladder without allowing it to rest directly against the roof edge or gutter.
